Objective
Develop a secure, field-ready transport and charging system for Samsung S20 devices and supplementary USB battery packs. The system needed to keep phones and backup power sources protected, organised and ready for use while reducing the complexity of charging and managing multiple devices.
Challenge
Field teams rely on mobile devices being charged, protected and ready to deploy, often in environments where standard charging infrastructure is limited or unavailable.
The client needed a rugged system that could store, transport and charge multiple mobile handsets alongside their supporting USB battery packs.
Solution
SP-1 designed and manufactured a rugged mobile device charging case tailored to the handset and supporting USB battery pack requirements.
The internal layout was engineered to maximise device density while keeping the system practical to use. Custom foam cutouts provided protected storage for 12 handsets and 12 USB battery packs, helping users quickly identify missing equipment and keep each device secure during transport.
The integrated power layout supported simultaneous charging for all 24 devices, turning a loose collection of phones, batteries, chargers and cables into a single field-ready charging system.

Outcome
