Objective
Develop a proprietary range of high-performance USB circuit boards to serve as the core technology for professional mobile device management, surpassing the capabilities of standard off-the-shelf components.
Challenge
Generic USB hubs and consumer-grade charging components are often ill-suited for enterprise environments. They frequently suffer from data bottlenecks, overheating, and crucially - the inability to charge devices effectively while simultaneously transferring data (syncing). Chargebus needed a robust, industrial-grade solution to power its bespoke cases and cabinets.
Solution
SP-1 designed and manufactured a custom suite of advanced commercial USB circuits. Moving beyond standard specifications, we engineered the PCB architecture to support intelligent "charge-while-sync" functionality, allowing devices to replenish battery power even during intensive data transfer sessions. The design focused on thermal efficiency and high-bandwidth throughput to support large fleets of devices.
